through Co-production

Formulating best practice guidance using parental and staff experiences

The UK-wide social media parental scoping exercise and The SuPPORT Project Anaesthetic staff questionnaire will be used to develop a ‘Principles of Care’ guidance document.

There will be professional multi-disciplinary team input from Anaesthesia, Obstetrics, Midwifery, Neonatology and Neonatal psychology.

Parental feedback on developed ‘Principles of Care’ will be sought from those who have experienced neonatal resuscitation in theatre guidance to ensure acceptability to service-users.
