We have developed a pragmatic tool to guide high quality communication during neonatal resuscitation in theatres. It combines parental feedback, qualitative research exploring anaesthetic staff experiences and current clinical practice, alongside expert input from the SuPPORT Project multidisciplinary team. 

 

To ensure that the developed tool is acceptable for our families, we have asked mothers / birthing people and birth partners to give feedback on the guidance formulated, before it is rolled out and used for professional learning and development. ​
